New Arcana oils...

My new Halloween/Samhain oils from Arcana Soaps have arrived.

Guy Fawkes, may indeed be a swift punch of french roast coffee at first, but the spicy cider comes right out for me and I get a cinnamon punch to follow the coffee punch! It quickly settles into a warm earthy cider, with cinnamon and coffee notes. Reminds me a bit of the Nippon Kodo incense great Africa or Earth.

Haint is very reminiscent of Lost for Words. Sweet and mellow, the musk turns a simple vanilla into a grown-up vanilla. I can smell the sugar, it smells like sugar cooking, when it has just the hint of carmelizing? and a hint of pepper keeping it from going all sugar cookie! Very lovely.

Little Ghoulie, chocolate sugar cookies! No, not just chocolate sugar cookies, but Oreos. Then a bit of ginger, adding a lovely spiciness to it. And a bit of cake. I don't really get much of a pumpkin note at all, at least not the potpourri pumpkin that I got from Sleepyhollow. Yummy.

Holy Terror, cool dark incense. Smokey and slighty sweet. I can smell the scent that candles leave in the air after you blow them out. Must have for incense lovers.

I'm going to need to get back ups of Holy Terror and Little Ghoulie. Probably Guy Fawkes and Haint too

I'm Filthy.

Filthy Viking may be the best soap ever. Scrubby enough to get rid of dry bits, and a creamy lather that leaves my skin feeling so soft.

And with the matching perfume oil, I am now ready to pillage.
